That's a fact. I wouldn't count on that. New Yorkers have been Americans in the past. Hell, my uncle was one. He helped stop the Nazis from bombing a Navy yard we have there.

Also he ran a haberdashery on 47th Avenue.
He wasn't a true New Yorker, but he was there.
He definitely was a New Yorker for awhile.
They used to give him some funky special salute if he went on base. He earned some respect somewhere along the line.
Good man he was.
He never had any obvious "battle fatigue" like some of my other kin had. He took it all in stride. Helluva dude.
