if it is so important to stand to show respect when the Star Spangled Banner is played tell us what do you do when you are at home watching a sporting event of any kind and the anthem is played?

Do you get up out of your easy chair and stand, or even take note that it is being played?

I've stood next to "patriots" that don't stop talking, eating or drinking, they are probably the idiots that are so outraged over this!

Have you or anyone on the left ever had an "original thought" void of using some teleprompter talking point? The most obvious point is the freedom involved in deciding whether or not to stand. The facts are that we at home are not under contract to present a sporting event and then attempt to turn that platform into a political event. These players are paid good money to perform. Who wants to know or even care what they think about politics?

Its like the old axiom, "I went to a fight the other night and a hockey game broke out....". This is much ado about NOTHING. Even the president of the Untied States does not lose his right to express his opinion when elected. Yet....unlike the NFL payers....WHO YOU GIVE A PASS IN EXPRESSING THEIR OPINIONS while getting paid to do something else. What's the difference? The same for the NFL BLACK LIVES MATTER twits.....they have a personal opinion and if they want to sacrifice a chance at losing their fan base that supports their livelihood....GO FOR IT. Karma is hell. Its just like the stupid that supported Hillary last election...knowing she was in the wrong. They lost. This latest "in vogue" attempt to gain personal attention will also pass away like the Clinton Machine...what comes to mind is a "fart in the wind." ;)

Wait a minute, I asked a simple question about those buying the President's orchestrated NFL "issue" and now your attempting to turn it around to make it all about the players "under contract to present a sporting event?"

What in the hell does any of that have to do with the question I asked?

So you believe that the President orchestrated these losers to disrespect the flag................Sorry fool they did this all on their own and will pay the price, the entire NFL is already paying the price

Ah,no, he orchestrated the issue, first week of the season less than six players take a knee, he shoots his mouth off, as designed, and the whole league is involved.

The President says nothing, no issue, whole thing would have probably disappeared, and don't try to tell us a President who disses gold star families and war heroes is suddenly concerned about honoring veterans
