the republicans should drop the rep and just call themselves publicans - overuse of a publicans products will cause problems and future pain...

Publican was an old KJ Bible name for a "tax collector." They were hated by the conservative Jews for their alliance with the Romans and skimming for themselves. Tax collectors...hated by conservatives....sounds more like a democrat to me. :)
 
Oops, maybe I posted that in the wrong thread. It should have gone into the "levity" thread. But I hate posting where such foul language is being used anyway so ....
