EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin has a message for Congress:

"I want to spend tens of billions of less dollars.

""We heard it during yesterday’s cabinet meeting from President Trump and the other members around the table."

"We have a deficit in this country that this administration is focused on insuring that we get towards a balanced budget."

"Do it as quickly as possible. We don’t waste a penny of the taxpayer dollars, and we’re making the public proud."

THE US POSTAL SERVICE LOST $9.5 BILLION IN 2024—TIME TO CUT THE FAT

Despite jacking up postage rates twice in 2024, the U.S. Postal Service still managed to burn through nearly $10 billion.Mail volume is down, losses are skyrocketing, and DeJoy’s “reform” plan isn’t working.

Rand Paul is right: “USPS needs a hiring and spending freeze NOW."

Instead, they’re hiking prices while failing to compete in package delivery—driving customers away.If USPS were a private company, it would’ve collapsed years ago. But in Washington, incompetence gets rewarded with more funding.

Enough is enough.

@RandPaul

The U.S. Postal Service’s $9.5B operating loss in 2024 screams for immediate intervention.

With 72% of revenue eaten up by compensation and benefits, USPS is the poster child for bureaucratic bloat.

DOGE’s track record of slashing waste shows the way forward.

Canceling wasteful contracts and recovering misplaced funds is just the start.

USPS needs delivery route optimization, facility consolidation, and workforce rationalization to stop the cash burn.

Forget bailouts—apply Musk’s efficiency playbook to dismantle USPS bureaucracy and save taxpayers from a liability.
