No about weed not being legal. I've smoked for 37 years and never had a single run in with a cop.
i know others like you and have heard of many others. i don't think cops really care about weed. the only time i see them caring is when they bust a huge distribution ring or someone guy with numerous plants etc....IMO....i think cops want weed to be legal, then they can focus their energy on the truly sick drugs like meth, coke, etc.....
the cops that busted us in high school didn't care...the town i lived in (don't say it on the forum because i told you in PM) used to hold marijuana rallies every year on the court house steps.....bongs, joints....weed was being smoked and the cops did nothing. i participated in one and my friend wanted me to get on the news with him, but i said no, and sure enough, on the evening news there he was taking a huge bong hit on the podium and the cops did nothing.

We smoked weed at a zz top concert in tulane stadium with about 60,000 people there. I been watching these gangland documentaries and am getting more pro cop by the episode.
don't confuse gang bangers with the rest of the pot smokers. i'm sure where you are going with that, but, if pot was legal, gang bangers would not be in the business of selling weed.
