Anyone, left, right or centre would have said the same... unless you are saying that all other American leaders are wussies.
IF what he said was true .. IF.. then he looks as if he might be a good governor, at least as far as education is concerned.
BUT if you think it takes balls to say what he said I suggest you dont know what balls are, sailor.
Anyone, left, right or centre would have said the same... unless you are saying that all other American leaders are wussies.
Citizens do have health care.....we have cars, flat screen TV's, almost anything we want.....Right on, Bravo! Just like Obama and health care. Citizens need health care and health care is what they shall have!
Guess you're not aware of the graduation rates in this country are you?that lady was a republican plant, she can't be that dumb and be a teacher.
that lady was a republican plant, she can't be that dumb and be a teacher.
?????....apparently you know nothing about American politics.......no, no one on the left would have said this to an American teacher.....if that makes the American left wussies in your view so be it......
and you claim to have an mba
yes, it is possible to be educated and stupid
Wussieness is not confined to one party or another but it is fairly evident in a country that can only fight in gangs when brainwashed.
You used to have courage, where has it gone?
My comments were non political. I listened to what the man had to say and found myself sympathising with him.
that marks you as having intelligence......as surprising as it may seem.....
Balls? Thats those smelly things whacking your chin every night when your having desert.
If hes telling the truth? Man, get an education some where, will you....no wonder your a pinhead that votes for Democrats, you don't have a clue to whats going on in life.....our school taxes go up in freakin' leaps and bounds and you don't have the intelligence or curiosity to learn why its happening.
I apologize.....
Belay that....I keep forgetting you're from the UK....so your ignorance is forgiven.

Don't be an ass....I was a loyal union member for 37 years and know EXACTLY how they work....EXACTLYWhile the Governor made the point the union's refusal to voluntarily lower it's wages resulted in layoffs there's a bit more to that old story.
All too often businesses and governments will ask a union to lower wages as there's no money. The union lowers wages and a year or two passes and the business and/or economy picks up. When the union asks for the salaries to be reinstated the reply is, "We're not going to renegotiate the contract."
Businesses and governments have a way of saying "we" are in this together when talking to unions during tough times but there's no "we" when the situation turns around.
How many situations have occurred where a company has experienced rapid growth/expansion and voluntarily increased union wages? I'm not aware of any but, perhaps, someone here knows.
Don't be an ass....I was a loyal union member for 37 years and know EXACTLY how they work....EXACTLY
There would be no re-negotiation because it would already be "re-negotiated" to reinstate the wages to whatever they were or more likely the union would have already demanded a wage even higher than the original at a definite time...or would have traded a lower wage for higher benefits...
ha ....the union retains more and better lawyers then the companys do....
You're really a meathead aren't you....to say you're naive would be generous....
Talk about naive. Show one company which experienced above average growth/expansion and employee's wages were commensurate with the increase. I see while pounding your chest you forget to address that question.
Care to give it a try?
Wages should not be commensurate with company growth or company profit....Talk about naive. Show one company which experienced above average growth/expansion and employee's wages were commensurate with the increase. I see while pounding your chest you forget to address that question.
