The lawsuit filed by the Georgia conference of the NAACP, the Georgia Coalition for the People’s Agenda and the New Georgia Project had argued that damage and disruptions from Helene unfairly deprived people of the opportunity to register.

But Senior Assistant Attorney General Elizabeth Young Young said there’s a difference between an individual registering to vote and a registration drive by a nonprofit.

“It’s not the right to have a voter registration drive,” she argued. “It’s the right to vote.”

Good for Judge Ross. There is no need for Georgia's voter registration period to be extended. If you weren't registered to vote by October 7th, that's on you. Using Helene as an excuse in Georgia was just a scam by the NAACP and Democrats to get more illegal names on the voter rolls.

you don't have a right to have a voter registration drive
Now registration and registration drive are the same thing? Offices were closed for nearly a week during registration due to the hurricane so why not allow those who might have missed registering to have another opportunity?

Okay, how fucking stupid is the mindset that says a devastating hurricane is no "excuse" to continue the effort to try and LEGALLY register Georgians to vote?

So if such a disaster warrants a suspension of voter registration, why not suspend any and all bills towards those in the affected areas? Why not null & void any and all campaigning, since you will have a LIMITED voting populace?

Once again, the MAGA/Alt-Right GOP desperately grasp at straws to ensure their hold on the Congress/Senate in the upcoming elections.

WHOOPS

So that makes her immune from making a bad ruling? Seems she contradicts In August 2020, when she ordered Georgia to extend the deadline for receiving absentee ballots by three days. A decision that held via a split panel of the11th Circuit court.

Got anything to say about that, genius?

Its not like it matters anyway,....Georgia is already a lost cause for the Democrats,....North Carolina too for that matters. Along with several other swings too I might add. Democrats= DEAD IN THE WATER. The PEOPLE want you OUT and we will see to it that you are.
