A schoolteacher has been charged with public intoxication after being found allegedly passed out drunk.
John David McElroy, 53, of Knoxville was spotted under an awning by deputies as they responded to an ice-related traffic crash.
McElroy’s Mercedes was found parked about 50 yards away. His car keys were found on him, as well as a 2-liter bottle of vodka.
The women’s lingerie he was wearing wasn’t discovered until later, though.
According to a property inventory report filed during his booking, McElroy was wearing pink panties and a tan bra padded with falsies under his clothes.
