A couple of quick questions for the board regarding our political climate

1.....Are you opposed to tariffs as a general rule or ONLY opposed to tariffs we put on other countries?

2...Is it ok for the rest of the world to impose as many tariffs as they want on us while we do nothing in return?

3.... Did you somehow not know that Trump ran hard on Tariffs and illegal immigration / deportation during the election cycle?

4....If you did know why are you so shocked that he is doing exactly what he said he would do?

5....Are you so used to politicians LYING to the public to get elected as they have done now for our entire lifetimes and more that you became accustomed to the typical blatant dishonesty of most politicians and failed to take Trump at his word because you thought everything would be business as usual?

OK this is where I am:

Almost everyone on my grapevine, and I have a high quality grapevine, says that tariffs cant work in 2025...Trump does not know what he is doing.

I am looking for evidence for this claim.

Ok,...but then why can other countries apply tariffs to our goods at will? Like they have been doing to us for many years? ALL I am saying is that if people are truly against tariffs and support free trade then they should be against ALL tariffs,...not just tariffs that the United States applies. A level playing field is what we should all want.
