75 yr old man shoved to ground by NY cops, bleeding from head & ear

Back in my Woodstock days, these police officers would have been referred to as PIGS.

The cops did nothing wrong. The old antifa has been aggressively approached them and initiated physical contact. The cops had already formed a line and were clearing the area and the cops pushed him out of the way as they were supposed to do, and the clumsy antifa wannabe tripped over his own feet. The irony is that the stupid fuck was holding a riot helmet when he fell.

He’s a well-known leftist agitator, and was there to confront police and cause trouble. He got what he was looking for.

The officer’s shove was just enough to move the guy back off of him. The guy then does a cartoonish flailing move backwards and falls.

And then 57 other cops on the team quit in solidarity with the 2 cops suspended?????? This is nuts.

BUFFALO, N.Y. - All 57 officers of the Buffalo Police Emergency Response team resigned Friday afternoon in support of two police officers who were suspended without pay after shoving a 75-year-old man to the ground during a protest.

A police union representative told WKBW that the officers were following orders given to them by Deputy Police Commissioner Joe Gramaglia to clear the area and do not believe they were in the wrong.

While the members of the emergency response team resigned from their specific roles, they did not resign from the police department altogether and are still employed.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said in a statement his office "is aware of developments related to the world assignments of certain members of the Buffalo police force."

He added: "At this time, we can confirm that contingency plans are in place to maintain police services and ensure public safety within our community."

The developments come after the Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced earlier in the day that it will be investigating an incident in which two Buffalo, New York police officers were caught on camera shoving a septuagenarian to the ground at a protest on police brutality.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo called a video, which has been viewed on Twitter 38 million times, "utterly disgraceful."

The 75-year-old man, whose name has been withheld but is widely known in the area as an activist, was listed in serious but stable condition, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tweeted Friday.

"As was relayed to me by an ECMC official, he is 'alert and oriented,'" Poloncarz tweeted. "That is better news. Let's hope he fully recovers."

The unidentified man was caught on camera being shoved to the ground by police officers in tactical gear shortly after a curfew went into effect near Niagara Square.

In the video, the man can be seen approaching a large group of officers. Someone is heard shouting, "Push him back!" One officer raises his baton over the man while another pushes him in the chest. He stumbled backward and falls on the pavement. A pool of blood can be seen slowly forming around his head.

The Buffalo Police Department's initial statement was that the man was injured when he tripped and fell during a confrontation between protesters and police officers. However, television station WBFO had videotaped and aired the incident, prompting a fierce backlash against the police department's statement and an internal affairs investigation.

"I was deeply disturbed by the video, as was Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood," Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said in a statement. "He directed an immediate investigation into the matter, and the two officers have been suspended without pay."

Brown added that "after days of peaceful protests and several meetings between myself, police leadership and members of the community, tonight's event is disheartening."

Poloncarz has spoken out against the two officers and said they must be "held responsible for their actions" and not just fired from the department.

The officers have not been identified.

One skinny old man could have easily been walked to the side by a cop.....just tell Pops to have good day and to stay out of their way.

No one out rioting and looting over this man? Nope. Not political enough. White on white injustice. No one cares.

Wow, can you pile on the total complete bullshit!

That video may not have ended up as planned, but it was staged to take place by protestors creating optics of police brutality. that video isn't any different other than circumstance recorded than that loser James O'Keefe doing the Acorn video.

Instigators creating chaos to become famous people recording the events arranged to become history made so far.

I am sure every protester hopes to be lying on the ground with blood streaming from their head.

Martyrdom is what career character role players do in public to be immortalized in history so their name stays in public records to staged events defending human rights to disregard how life works in plain sight kinetically.

Circumstances in active social unrest as there was more going on besides the old man being pushed by a third officer behind the two charged did the shove. Again, the 75 year old man never learned to roll out of a fall so his head wouldn't be the final landing point on concrete.

I have watched enough optics to staged chaos to see it for all it was, political theater by groupies trying to please their social interpretation's ruling elites.

My honesty comes from the core of my body being timed apart same as yours equally occupying space in your sole point of displacement you pretend nobody can account for in natural position as timed apart so far.

Your reality is surface illusions factualized by statistical averaging outcomes historically to govern outcomes from now on to life never staying what it became as a whole so far.

Why do you say things you have no knowledge at all of. The old man was pushed straight backward landing on his head. That , and only that is what caused the injury. It was not his lack of acrobatic skills. Nobody is saying the cops were trying to bust his skull open. But they did. The cops should have immediately helped him.It was all because of police brutality.

It was because the old man did not heed their warnings. A typical dumb ass leftist. This is not rocket science you dumb fuck. And what was he reaching for on that LEO 3 seconds into the video? That is when it all happened.

It really just goes to show people why so many people are participating in the protests, WHITE, BLACK, RED OR YELLOW.

In the bigger picture, the protests are about Police Brutality and excessive force- Which is normally the starting point of just about every one of the Police Incidents Gone Bad over the last several decades since the Rodney beating.

And this incident is also an eyeopener as to how Police Departments cover up their own abuses, as this police department originally wrote up the incident as "THE MAN TRIPPED AND HURT HIMSELF.

But, that is not what happened, as a News Crew filmed the incident, and their film clip revealed he was brutally shoved to the ground by a reckless and careless Trusted Authoritative Public Servant who over-reacted and abused his authority.

Now, you have to ask yourself, HOW MANY incidents of police abusing their authority goes on across the country every day without the public's benefit of having a NEWS CREW THERE to fact check the police reports?

EVERYBODY needs to set their politics aside for a moment and try to see the BIGGER PICTURE.

Let's not get so sucked up into our politics that we allow them to blind us and distract us from what is right and just pure wrong!
