This is the actual poll YouGov did.

Economically, 40% of those questioned made (self-reported) under $50K. Another 21% made over 100K. So, 71% of those polled were either working poor, poor, or well off / rich. When you look at the demographics in the poll, it's mostly college educated women who are being polled. The poll skews heavily towards those that are known to disagree with Republican economic choices and support a heavy-handed welfare state.

Your math is wrong. According to the numbers you wrote it's 61 percent, not 71 percent.

Your lack of ability to do basic arithmetic makes all your statements and conclusions suspect.

Although it's owned by a Reichwinger, when it comes to economic data we can pretty much trust the Wall Street Journal. Their readership consists of investors who demand accurate data. They'll continue to compile and publish stats like the inflation rate, unemployment, consumer confidence, and so on.
