45% does not represent a majority so those others remain in a slimish majority.
But it should represent a wakeup call for the donkeys.
Of course they don't care about being in sync with their own. They have the votes locked down.

Those in the democrat party that find the islamic religion unfavorable are a plurality not a majority, but those that are in line with JPP leftists are not in the majority. For some reason there are a fair amount of folks that are undecided.

It's nearly half and it's not going to get smaller. Trump's Muslim ban is more popular than what you'd think if you pay attention to the talking heads.

But you have to have a special kind of blindness to not see that Islam has some serious issues. It's hardly surprising it's popularity is suffering. Why shouldn't it?

It is 2015, and on political messagebaords across the nation, there is actual serious discussion about banning all muslims from america. This discussion exists because a mainstream, leading presidential candidate for one of the major parties has this as part of his platform.

It's hysterical and comical, but it should also be a reminder that the things we think of as ancient history, like fascism, internment camps...government abuse and tyranny... it's never far away.

Let this really sink in the next time you mock those that wish to protect themselves from government at all costs. Given the means and opportunity, we can easily fall into corruption and a dystopian nightmare.

Well, it's more of a moratorium than a ban for eternity. "Until the government figures out what is going on" is always cropped from Trumps quote. Trump is outrageous enough on his own without taking him out of context to make him sound even more outrageous.

Frankly, I think it pales in comparison to Lynches attempt at threatening people into silence over Islam. What is it with Islam that some people think it needs free speech carve outs? It's ok to bash all religions *except Islam* and that gets the Feds on you? Where's the outrage??

Ironically, Lynch is being sharia compliant and likely has the ISIS savages doing fist bumps. The radical Muslims hold that Islam is the supreme religion [not just the only religion with salvation, but the worlds supreme religion] and all other religions must submit to it.

If I have to pick between the two, I'll take Trumps proposal every time.

"Until we figure out what's going on" doesn't change anything about what he said. What exactly are we waiting to figure out? The threat of Islamic terror is not going away so either you ban them forever or you don't. It's not like in six months we'll say "there's not a threat of a Muslim extremist doing anything in America any more so we'll allow them to start immigrating again."

islam isn't the core problem, the problem is ultimately religious and mythical thinking by grown adults. Islam is still stuck in the stone ages, and it is the perfect example of what happens when capable adults give in to myths about an invisible non-existent god.

Christianity is only tolerable in western society because it's adherents don't actually practice what it preaches.

There is nothing more dangerous to our survival than those that actaully believe in god. To do so means there is one unwavering uncompromising truth. To believe means you can kill and murder anyone that stands in your way and you believe you will actually be rewarded for it. It prevents people improving the life we have on earth because all they are thinking about is the eternity that awaits them. It makes people not give a shit about global climate change because Jesus isn't going to let the world die until he's good and ready. Disaster and strife just means the end times are getting closer.

There is no space for adults to actively believe in myths in the modern world. That is the great danger. All those condemning islam while practicing christianity don't realize they are part of the problem themselves.
