Pope Francis called abortion "horrific" and said it was part of a new "throwaway culture" he said wasted human life.


"It is frightful even to think that there are children, victims of abortion, who will never see the light of day," Francis said.

Anti-abortion is a bedrock belief of the Church and it's never going to change, no matter who's the Pope. I'm just happy Francis is being less judgmental when dealing with these hot-button issues.

He is only one enlightened man in a church led by many ignorant men. But I am amazed how much difference this one man can make.
