Shaken, not stirred!
So tomorrow is the official installation of the 2nd term of Cheeto Jeezus as POTUS. A damning statement on the status of the American populace.
He will be a lame duck President, unable to run again for office. He's elderly and not in the world's greatest health. He is also a documented narcissist ... intolerant of the slightest contradiction from anyone who works for him ... and of any/all public criticism.
Despite his previous 4 years in Office, he has little to know practical knowledge as to how exactly our gov't works, the Constitution, foreign policy. And he has demonstrated NO desire to learn. His ego, supported by a lifetime of inherited money and a cadre of lawyers, is his only guide ... and he believes he instinctively knows more than any expert in any field.
He is a patented, pathological liar that has been documented in print, audio and visual media. His class, caste, racial & ethnic bigotry was documented LONG before he entered public office. His various private business failures, frauds and dubious relationship with the IRS has been documented. And he will insure this country's road to corporate oligarchy .... with a touch of theology thrown.
And yet, our country has re-installed him to office. Blame for this can be put on a populace divided by economics, by racial/caste/class hatreds. Also a feckless opposition party (Democrats) who literally shoot themselves in the foot by sandbagging decent candidates in favor of those who will support the status quo.
So let's gear up, America. Unswerving support of Israel's current zionistic gov't (dollars and bombs), another version of reaganomics and an onslaught on Civil Rights and social benefits/entitlements for the non-wealthy. And an administration wrought with the bigoted, the imperialistic, the fascistic, the unqualified and sycophantic.
To say we will be living in interesting times is an understatement.
