The same poll found that Democrats now view socialism more favorably than Capitalism, 66% to 42%.

Today, a whopping 66% of Democrats have a positive view of socialism. That's a direct result of young
people not learning about the atrocities that socialist governments committed in the 20th century.

So at least 66% of today's leftists/Democrats/liberal forum members have a positive view of socialism,
which perfectly aligns with the ideology of the Dem's #1 Socialist/Communist Mamdani.

So I ask you leftist socialists to name one country where socialism has worked?

Socialistic couries are not into wars.

Yes, socialist and communist countries have waged wars. Here are some notable examples:
  • Soviet Union (USSR):
    • Winter War (1939-1940): The Soviet Union invaded Finland, seeking territorial gains and to install a pro-Soviet government. The conflict ended with a peace treaty, but Finland ceded territory.
    • Soviet-Afghan War (1979-1989): The USSR invaded Afghanistan to support a communist government, leading to a decade-long conflict against mujahideen fighters, backed by the U.S. and others.
    • Invasion of Czechoslovakia (1968): The USSR led Warsaw Pact forces to crush the Prague Spring, a reform movement in Czechoslovakia, to maintain Soviet control.
  • China (People’s Republic of China):
    • Korean War (1950-1953): China intervened to support North Korea against South Korea and UN forces, led by the U.S., resulting in a stalemate and armistice.
    • Sino-Indian War (1962): China launched a brief war against India over border disputes, capturing territory before withdrawing.
    • Sino-Vietnamese War (1979): China invaded Vietnam to punish it for ousting the China-backed Khmer Rouge in Cambodia.
  • Cuba:
    • Angolan Civil War (1975-1991): Cuba sent troops to support the Marxist MPLA government in Angola against U.S.- and South Africa-backed factions.
  • Vietnam:
    • Vietnam War (1955-1975): North Vietnam, a communist state, fought South Vietnam and the U.S. to unify the country under communist rule, ultimately succeeding.
    • Cambodian-Vietnamese War (1977-1989): Vietnam invaded Cambodia to overthrow the Khmer Rouge, installing a pro-Vietnamese government.

Capitalism has always been an expansionist concept. They want more and more.

Yes, capitalism often exhibits expansionist tendencies. Its drive for profit and growth pushes businesses to seek new markets, resources, and labor, often beyond national borders. Historical examples like colonialism and modern globalization show how capitalist systems expand to maximize wealth, sometimes at the expense of local economies or environments. However, some argue this expansion fosters innovation and development, while others see it as inherently exploitative. The degree of expansionism can vary based on regulation, competition, and societal values.

Do you view socialism more favorably than capitalism?
