20 cars of 200-car Norfolk Southern train derail in Springfield Ohio

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF) -- Twenty cars of a 200-car train traveling through Springfield derailed Saturday afternoon, Norfolk Southern confirmed with Dayton 24/7 Now.

According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, the derailment happened about 4:55 p.m. at State Route 41 near the Clark County Fairgrounds.

Norfolk Southern said no one was injured in the derailment and that no hazardous materials were involved.

I was born not far from there just outside Springfield. Kind of glad we didn't move back.

This had to be caused by racist white railroad maintenance workers. No other possible explanation.
