Carrying in bars is already illegal in Ohio, as well as most other states, so that makes them criminals again. Now I will agree booze and guns usually don't mix well, but that's why it's illegal. And clearly they didn't obey those laws or the ones prohibiting the discharge of firearms in city limits, the ones about controlled substances, the ones involved in felons possessing guns (probably anyways) and laws against assault. Damn I guess we need more laws! Especially ones that make it harder for me, a upstanding legal citizen, to obtain a weapon, as I do not wish to break the law and would likely follow such prohibitions.

The point is the people who push for guns in schools are the same ones pushing for guns in bars and guns in government buildings and guns in airplanes. These people are idiots. Guns don't prevent violence because MAD depends on rational actors. And there's no test for rationality before you buy a freaking gun.

And my point is that the prohibition is clearly not working and only disarms the lawful.
