Matt Gaetz wanted to keep Santos? I wonder why, so he himself would not be the biggest creep in Congress?
The biggest creep in congress is that lying shit-faced shifty schift, and everyone knows it, including you.
Republican criminal liar George Santos has been expelled from Congress.
112 Republicans voted to keep him in. Shame!!!
Thank GOD 206 Democrats voted to expel him.
The resolution to expel Santos passed in a 311-114 vote, with numerous Republican lawmakers turning against Santos in what was the third effort to expel the New York congressman this year. Two Democrats voted present, and eight lawmakers did not vote. The strong Republican vote to oust him came despite some leading members of GOP leadership voicing concerns about setting a precedent of ousting a lawmaker who had not been convicted of a crime.

Shame??? LMFAO I wish he had stayed just so the stick would remain up your ass.
You love corruption.

There's no shame in waiting until the legal processes play out to expel him. A lot of House members are concerned about setting a precedent where people are expelled before they've had their day in court.

Thank god the House is not cowardly. They know corruption when they see it.
Nothing to do with being cowardly. We have a process in this country and are considered innocent until proven guilty. Obviously the House has the power to expel him, given that they've seen all of the evidence and the guy is apparently a pathological liar, but there's nothing at all cowardly if they had waited to let the legal process play out.

They investigated him and found lots of evidence. This is not a trial, it was an ethics violation. He committed many of them. He is being booted out of Congress, not going to jail. At this time, there is no legal process going on.

Most likely he wanted to wait until he was convicted before voting to oust him. That was the previous precedent. I doubt he was actually wanting him to stay, more likely he wanted a bit more due process involved in the decision. You can ask him though, he is your Congressman...
