basically you want liberal rule. the nation to be run by a handful of huge population centers, ignoring the representation of those in all the other states.

they already are and it's ruined us.
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

There were 13 states when the Constitution was written. People mostly lived and died where they were born. People today move from state to state.
The president presides over all citizens, not just the states.

Those days are long gone and the electoral college is undemocratic. It is a vestige of a day-long gone.
Why use tyranny? It is the rule of the majority, What is absurd is the tyranny of the minority. That makes no sense and cannot be justified.
your version of history is skewed and based upon political talking points that are nothing but lies. I told you what the founders wanted, why is that a bad thing?

the president represents the nation as a whole. not the people. that's the US house. the Senate was supposed to represent the states, but democrats did away with that as well........

But your argument is that only each state is authoritative, not the citizens.
