My interpretation: she doesn't know him and he doesn't know her, but he's been bashing her publicly and privately for no reason, ever since she was commanded to leave her job.
First the July phone call transcript came out she read trump saying “The former ambassador from the United States, the woman, was bad news,” Trump told the Ukrainian leader. And as Yovanovitch read on, she came across another Trump statement that seemed menacing: “She’s going to go through some things.”
He's trying to destroy her reputation and record, and scare her by hinting about some sort of repercussions, even though it's obvious he's doing this to distract from the Ghouliani back channel in Ukraine.
Now today's tweet wasn't so much intimidating as it was a lying smear. The fact is that he's working hard to destroy a woman he's never met, a woman who hasn't spoken badly of him, a woman who had a long, distinguished career as a diplomat, and that's despicable. Taken as a whole, trump's completely random hostility toward her is intimidating because outwardly it's inexplicable. He's like one of these nuts who develops a fixation on someone and then concocts a web of lies to justify his actions.

Thanks. I see it now as a totality of things, not just what he said today. He is singlehandedly alienating the very people in our government charged with protecting our national security and interests -- the staff of the State Dept., including ambassadors. The entire intel community.
I can hardly wait to watch our Reichwingers further debase themselves by joining in attacking this fine and accomplished public servant. Not.

Bama fired all his ambassadors.
Get over it.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
pain in abortion.
Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Ring a bell?Fascism begins by promising to make the country strong again, to restore pride. It wants to help, it wants to build a better country, it wants to improve your life. It wants to challenge a corrupt establishment and change a broken system. It wants to get people working again and get tough on crime. It doesn’t present an image of violent thugs to you, instead it shows the face of ordinary respectable people, people just like you, who have had enough.
So it starts with things a lot of people find attractive: national pride, restoration of glory, fighting the establishment. Then it pushes this further and further to the extreme. The nationalism become more extreme. Not only are we the best people, but all others are inferior. They only appear better because they cheat, they lie, they steal. The establishment is corrupt, the system is rigged, it is undeserving of support, it is illegitimate. The opponents are crooks, they should be put in jail. The media is suppressing the facts, censoring the truth, spreading lies, their dishonest must be silenced. Democracy only leads to indecisive and ineffective politicians, it only elects liars too corrupt to serve the people. If only we had a strong and decisive ruler, then we could solve the country’s problems. Drastic problems require drastic solutions.
Fascism has a major selling point in that it tells people that they are not to blame. Our country is suffering not because of anything we did, no, we don’t need to blame ourselves or feel guilty. The fault lies with others (the targets vary depending on country but it’s usually a different ethnic/religious group). They cheated, they undermined us, they sabotaged us, they are holding us back. If only we could lessen their stranglehold on us, we could prosper and thrive. We’re not attacking them, we’re just protecting ourselves. We’re the victims, but we won’t be pushed around anymore, now we’re going to stand up for ourselves.
But “they” didn’t act alone. No, they had help from the establishment, from traitors within. The media lied and misled us (but Fascism will force them to be truthful). The politicians cheated without punishment (but Fascism will bring them to justice). The courts are too soft on criminals (but Fascism will crack down on crimes committed by “them”). The nation is lost and hopeless (but the strong arm of Fascism will guide it in the right direction).

The Christian Right and the Rise of American Fascism
Two decades later, even in the face of the growing reach of the Christian Right, his prediction seems apocalyptic. And yet the powerbrokers in the Christian Right have moved from the fringes of society to the floor of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

BLUEXITA Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red
Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.
It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.
This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

Trump blames Yovanovitch for Somalia.
As if she is responsible for the melt down in Somalia.
Right.

Yes, a very loud one. This quote from your article:

This is exactly what's happening today, only far worse. The tyrant-in-chief started out with Muslims and those dirty brown immigrants as the enemy, remember those days? Little by little though, his rhetoric began to target American citizens. Fox and the Reichwing Noise Machine aided and abetted by cranking up the attacks on Democrats... first politicians, then (D) voters. The hate, scorn, and nastiness were unending. Now we have the end result: a minority segment of Americans who loathe, hate, and fear their fellow citizens. You can see a lot of that here. You can also see it in the comments section of on-line political articles/stories. Invariably the ppl who are posting the worst vile hateful comments and threats towards other commenters are Trump supporters.
Maybe we should start thinking about who would benefit and profit from another civil war.

Which is why I believe we need to split up as I see no coming together with a common goal with these nuts. No need for a war. We go our way and they go theirs. Who the hell needs to keep this horrible thing intact. They are a burden and holding us back. Let them keep their guns, bibles, crumbling infrastructure, trickle down voodoo, underfunded schools and for profit privilege only healthcare system and good luck to them. No more federal tax dollars from the blue states folks.
