The Senate will exonerate President Trump, he remains in office and the effort to remove a sitting president, elected by the people, will have failed.

    Democrats fail...again.

Hence, the hurry and the slipshod lol.

Pelosi is abusing the impeachment process for crass political purposes. A real impeachment takes time—and lots of evidence that persuades people because impeachment is fundamentally a political process.

In Pelosi’s own words, Impeachment happens in a bipartisan fashion or impeachment happens not at all. And here Nancy can’t even get unanimous support from her own caucus.

What Democrats are attempting is not only wrong—but wrong headed. Especially, this close to an election. It absolutely deserves to fail in the worst possible way.

Under the *political* circumstances the only appropriate measure by the House is censure. So far at least, Pelosi and the Democrats show no signs of taking it.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

Your President did not receive a subpoena, however he has illegally directed his staff to ignore any subpoenas they have received. That is the basis for a Contempt of Congress charge.

Not when they are potentially crossing the powers given to the other branches of government. The courts will be needed in this case. Separation of powers is what you need to research.

In this case they don't. Their power is being challenged.
