Trump voters need to learn from this though. There were WAY better options in the primaries. Kasich would have been a good if not great President. People need to be more discerning than just "this guy's an outsider - he'll shake things up!" He's a fool, and completely incompetent.
A fool and completely incompetent can win, that is the issue here. I could care less who you voted for, I am asking a general question. Blame Trump, blame the people who support him, but what about Hillary? She couldn't win against Trump, she would have never won against any of the other former R candidates. Enough with the blaming Trump or the voters, time to get down to who really is to blame. We owe it to the American people.

Like I said - I can blame both. I have lambasted Hillary's campaign plenty on this board. She blew it. She had no message, and spent most of the time trying to run out the clock. She also could have handled issues like the email scandal much more head-on and gotten them off the table earlier.

She ran a terrible campaign. That doesn't get Trump voters off the hook.

Dont bother talking about Brexit, you are not equipped to even begin to understand why we wanted to leave the EU.

And yet you constantly interject yourself into U.S. issues that you know zilch about.

I'll talk about Brexit as much as I want, thanks.

When has ignorance ever prevented Thing from pretentiously and ponderously pontificating on an issue, Corazón?

It's ironic that Mr. Mom calls Trump "childish" whilst whining for 10 months because he didn't get his way last November.

I think more on the right understand what he's about, but as an editorial in the NYT spoke about a few months back - he ticks liberals off, and that's enough for many conservatives.
Trump was smart enough to market the farce, while Hillary roped herself off to not be be touched, spoke from a pedestal and continued insulting people, both literally and figuratively. Again,
    Trump-1
    Hillary-0

Trump at least had his ear to the average American and was able to capitalize on it. Don't dismiss the Trump voters, because they have actual grievances. I don't believe for a minute that the average Trump voter is Republican, but also disgruntled and dissatisfied Democrats, and last but not least Independents.
What is the message that Trump so cleverly received and capitalized on? Why do Democrats fail to listen but are instead trying to please the more and more radical left? America doesn't consist of socialists, Antifa and race mongers. America is made up of people who want to earn a living, feed their families and enjoy whatever past time they may have, while living in peace and relative security.
So when the elite...Hollywood included... preached how the average Joe should vote and live, Trump listened. The left didn't even hear them speak.

I won't bother discussing Hillary with you, your opinion of her is very obviously one sided.

Trump honed in on white people feeling left behind. Trump didn't have an ear to the average voter, how many times did he go out amongst the people and actually talk with them instead of preaching behind a pulpit? His ears were Breitbart and the Alt Right. He has no idea what the rural farmer in Kansas or the guy in Detroit are facing except for generalities.

His lack of interest in what he promised on the campaign is obvious by the horrible legislation he has supported in the form of healthcare, he hasn't a clue what needs to be done to bring cheaper healthcare for all as he promised.

He is also promoting tax cuts for the rich which we know doesn't create jobs, but Republicans keep pushing it does.

Republicans don't see this guy is setting them up, it's great entertainment.

Trump was going to repeal & replace it on day 1. It was going to be "so easy."

And the replacement would cover more Americans, more inexpensively, and with "much better" healthcare.
