Nebraska continues its trend. At least they took it to OT today.
The Cornhuskers have no won a game since Oct 28, 2017. Ouch!

If things hold on there will be some upsets in the SEC.
Right now, TN is beating #21 auburn 27-17. The Vols are 2-3, having only beaten UTEP and East Tennessee State.
And Vandy is beating #14 Florida 21-20. The Gators will probably pull that one out.

LSU is looking very, very good!
I wonder how much longer ND can play like garbage and still remain unbeaten? Anyway, USC is looking like a non-entity against Colorado, right now.
Damn, I hate seeing a team like Nebraska play some of the worst football of its entire history. Meanwhile, I am enjoying those ISU upsets, even though the Big-12 is completely screwed now.

LSU 36. Georgia 16.
How the mighty have fallen. 20 years ago the Huskers were a top 5 program. Tom Osborne retired and Nebraska has since never been able to adapt to the decline of the Wishbone offense and be competitive in the modern era of pro style passing oriented offenses, zone blitz defenses and spread offenses.
I’ve talked to Nebraska fans and they blame a lot of Nebraska’s decline on influential Alumni expecting instant results and resistance to modernizing. This has substantially impacted recruiting as top prospects no longer see Nebraska as a top school to prepare for the NFL.
Having said that in the long term I wouldn’t count Nebraska out. The days of them and Oklahoma dominating the Big 8/12 are long gone and the current Big 10 is far more competitive, top to bottom, than the Big 12 ever was. Scott Frost stepped into a situation where a lot of structural changes will need to happen for Nebraska to get back to an elite level and things had to get worse before they get better. I think Frost is a fine coach and that as long as they support his changes to the program and continue to invest in their program at an elite level, and they are, Nebraska will return to elite Status.

Yahoo has already started beating the SEC bias drum. They have jumped LSU from #13 to #4 despite the fact that Notre Dame has a better record and a tougher schedule.
If LSWho was to beat Alabama and win the SEC Championship game and OSU, Clemson and Notre Dame go undefeated mark my word Yahoo and ESPN are going to lobby for Both Alabama and LSU to be in the playoff. Meaning at least one undefeated power team would be bumped.
That would make a mockery of the CFP.

I agree for the most part but the bias is for Alabama. They are the only team in the country to have the luxury of not having to win their conference championship as long as they only have one loss and they're in. And that's practically decided before the season starts.
I disagree with you about bama getting in ahead of an undefeated team though. They only get in when there's not enuf undefeated teams not called Central Florida to round out the CFP. I very seriously doubt an undefeated team from a power five conference would get bumped for a one loss bama team that didn't win the SEC championship. Has that ever happened? I don't think so.
Oh, and thank you for lending us Joe Burrow. We're making good use of him. Too bad OSU didn't.

Anybody see the Jeff Sagarin rankings today? Bewildering except for the top 3.
