Easy. If you want the Republican party to do some introspective there is an easy solution. Let the Democrats have power. They'll screw it up; and that will be the time to establish a new conservative party. If that's what you want. Give the Dems rope - they will hang themselves like they always do - they are mostly bought out by big rollers just like the Republicans, they are bound to self-destruct.

After the general public then sees that neither party can work, that is when the new middle party can emerge, one born of fiscal conservatives and social progressives who are tired of the extremes.

That would not be a very tactful thing to say to the survivors of those minorities whom have already lost their lives to COVID-19. So if you wouldn't tell that to a grieving person then you should know it doesn't really sound much better here. We are talking about people. Our government should be doing whatever it can to protect American lives. We never had to lose so many people. The president is responsible for a terrible response effort. Extremely irresponsible. People are going to be thinking about that when they vote. And just to make sure everyone is safe, America should commit to the goal to having a mail-in ballot in everyone's mailbox in plenty of time to vote by mail.
