Do you accept the congressional power to regulate immigration? That is not in the Constitution.
it actually IS in at least a couple of places.
Art. 1, Sec. 8, clause 4...
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization
Art. 1, Sec 9, para, 1.
The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a Tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.
