Default Pathetic Brits: Please clap for our shitty socialized healthcare - CRINGE FACTOR 100

    UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE IS PATHETIC

At 8pm on Thursday, March 26, people in formerly-great Britain were asked to stand at their windows, front doors, balconies or just in their living rooms for a round of applause.

This pathetic exercise comes amid fears the "free" NHS will be completely overwhelmed by the Chinese disease, just as the crap "universal healthcare" systems of Italy, Spain, and Germany have been.

Dr Chaand Nagpaul, who chairs the BMA, said: “Every day that goes by is resulting in increased *shortages of frontline staff.”

Thanks neoliberals for purposefully hollowing it out to find yet more inflated asset prices in 2010. You will find the answer to your own question.

There are tens of thousands of credible accounts of the inadequacy of socialized medicine in the soon-to-be disunited kingdom, Tom. They date back decades, as you well know.

NHS crisis: Sunday 8 December 2019 - Four-year-old boy forced to sleep on hospital floor due to lack of beds

‘It was chaos,’ says the child’s mother.

Doctors and patients accuse government of failing to stop NHS crisis: Wed 3 Jan 2018

At least 21 trusts are on black alert, meaning they cannot guarantee patient safety or provide full range of services

The issues with the shitty NHS considerably pre-date 2010, loser.

I am sure you do, but you've never used the NHS and I have many times.

You've no idea whether I have or not, Tom. The fact is that NHS is a certifiable shambles and it has been for decades, even before they pathetically begged people to "clap" for them.

The Commonwealth Fund saw fit to think otherwise!

The NHS has been ranked the number one health system in a comparison of 11 countries.

The UK health service was praised for its safety, affordability and efficiency, but fared less well on outcomes such as preventing early death and cancer survival.

The research by the Commonwealth Fund, a US think tank, looked at countries across the world, including the US, Canada, Australia, France and Germany.

    The US came bottom.

It is the second time in a row that the UK has finished top.

Three years ago, when the survey was last done, the UK was also number one.

It comes despite the NHS being in the grip of the tightest financial squeeze in its history with lengthening waiting times.

    So what?

The tens of thousands of first-hand accounts of incredible ineptitude, bureaucratic bungling, and medical malfeasance published by British media over decades tell a different tale.
