For whatever reason, perhaps because everyone knew that some orange buffoon couldn't beat Clinton, there was a gross lack of interest by select demographics when it came time to vote in '16.

We saw a course correction in '20, but it was too little too late.

Without any doubt the narrative that Trump could not win, caused major damage. IMO trump himself fully believed he was going to lose, which is why he kept calling the election "rigged" before it even occurred.
