during WW2 all farmers were required to grow dome hemp to make rope for the war effort........when I was growing up it still came up wild in the ditches and fence rows......I can attest to the fact that it has no noticeable effect when smoked.......

growing hemp for rope is a sure path to oblivion, rope is most all plastic now. The Yucatan is littered with abandoned Haciendas that collapsed when sisal rope died.
