for my 2 cents. Now that this has gone to the jury i think manafort will walk. Its almost impossible for a case like this not to be decided on partisan lines and there are going to be some trump supporters among the 12.
You've got a point. I've personally caused two mistrials by hung jury--just because I didn't like the shitkicker fucktards with whom I was doing jury duty!
Absolute truth. I haven't been called for jury duty for a long time, though. Maybe it's an age thing.

But that's mistrial--not acquittal. You only get acquittal or conviction if you've got pussy jurors who fold to peer pressure. That was NEVER me.

Or maybe because you caused two hung juries! Sounds like a good strategy to get out of jury duty for good.

No, because it is liberal Northern Virginia. Try to stick to the facts.

At least I know them. Gov. McDonnell was also convicted in the eastern district of corruption in a case that was UNANIMOUSLY overturned by the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Still not proof that this case will be decided because of liberals. There aren’t any conservatives on the jury?

Nothing would surprise me about that waste of oxygen, especially after he pardoned lowlife Arpaio.

Perhaps you can research that as well as the meaning of the word "probably". You seem to be the one indicating he will be found guilty. We live in a country where there is a presumption of innocence. That you presume guilt illustrates precisely the point I was making.

Not 100% sure. I don't think it would be if he was found guilty the first time and got a federal pardon, then was retried on state charges by the state govt.

Or, they could try him on another, different set of charges.

I read somewhere that Mueller was holding back some charges and keeping them in his back pocket just for such a possibility.

If the state charges contained different elements, no.

    Guilty 100%
Juries are amazing, they pay attention and seriously want to get it right.
I think the evidence is overwhelming.

Don’t know what the jury will do.

    I know this

    1) not one word of Russian collusion in this trial
    2) All Bobby Muller has are 10 year old alleged crimes when Manafort was working with Hillary’s buddies. People forget to mention that
    3) if Manafort is guilty nothing changes but the left will make it seem like Putin was just convicted
    4) If Manafort walks the left will blame Ellis and Putin
    5) Still waiting for Manafort to flip like every lefty on JPP predicted. Any day now right?
