"Dive, market, DIVE!
Take DT down with you.
McCarthy said if you like this economy you must vote not to impeach.
As if that had anything to do with guilt or innocence.
Are we to now believe that if the corona virus hit the stock market earlier that DT would have been convicted?"

Hello Frank Apisa,
I believe it is worth the effort.
Some things deserve more than a soundbyte. And with our 140 character mindset, valuable detail is lost. Over simplification leads to believing the BS, dehumanizing the other side, which prompts them to do the same thing to us. The result is increased polarization and rampant dysfunction preventing the USA from moving forward and holding us back as problems escalate. That just doesn't work for America.

Hello Hawkeye10,
There are other places to eat, better sources of nutrition. Grocery stores actually have food that is ready to eat. Example: A can of oysters is priced lower than a Big Mac. There are almost limitless options for food. It would behoove those who are hooked on fast food to expand their horizons. It would be healthier. Eating better would make America healthier, and thus reduce the cost of health care.
I remember being in a grocery store and seeing the empty meat displays, then looking around the store and realizing there is plenty to eat, but it just might not be the selections we want.
How did America become so wimpy? I have heard the stories of all the sacrifices made during WWII. You just couldn't get things. Things were rationed. If you didn't have a ration allotment you were not allowed to buy the needed things. The whole nation was mobilized to fight the threat. Buy US bonds, grow a victory garden, use a bicycle, conserve gasoline, copper, and tires. There were even steel pennies! Make do and do without. Repurpose, reuse, recycle. We need to just buck up, accept the challenges, and persevere. We are strong. We can kick this bug's ass. We are humans. We shall prevail. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
It is unconscionable (and dumb) to demand meat packers go back to work, and to say that anybody who wants a test can get one, and not have 100% testing of meat packers. Sanitize the meat packing houses, test the workers 100%, problem solved.
