I'm not defending the corrupted socialist system now in operation in America friend. There's plenty of room for amending that corrupt system. Single payer isn't one of them! Removing the feds from it would be the best of restoring what was once the best healthcare system on earth before the feds got involved in it.

It will be one interesting laboratory experiment. I believe that if they actually make it a true Single Payer program,it will show just how crummy and stupid and expensive Single Payer really is.

Really? Which other country's healthcare have you experienced?

You must be talking about the Veterans Hospitals.. That's government owned and operated, but its very poor and very expensive.

Hang on to that propaganda. People in the USA are not happy with our health care system, with it's poor outcomes, exclusivity in favor of wealth, medical bankruptcies, and the high cost.

When people of Canada are asked if they would prefer a health system similar to that of the USA, they resoundingly JUST SAY NO.

    Just who are "the feds?"

Are we not a self-governing nation?

Isn't our government comprised of Americans, chosen from 'We, The People?'

The way you speak of 'the feds' it sounds like you are talking about some alien enemy.

Single payer will cut 30% of administrative overhead that has NOTHING to do with patient care.

I've experience this country's healthcare and it's coverage, at least with my personal experience. It's worked fine for ME for a long time. Since I don't give a fuck about you and yours, I don't give a fuck whether you have it or not and if you do, whether it's quality or not. You simply don't matter in my world.

I guess that's why it worked so well in Vermont and Hawaii.

What makes you think NYC is going to have anymore success than Vermont?

Look this is federalism at its finest. I don’t agree with the policy but it isn’t impacting me so I don’t give a fuck

Hell maybe I will go to NYC and let them pay for my healthcare. By law they have to treat me

This is an open forum and Robo didn't thread ban me.

Seems you're afraid of hearing how things are as doomy and gloomy as you want. They've still worked fine for ME. If they don't for you and your grandchildren, that's fine by me. I don't give a fuck about you and could care less if you go without.
