    PCB are 100 year old tech. No one really designs the best. They are very boring.

    The best chips are designed in the USA. Taiwan does very little of that work.

    A modern chip might have 10 billion transistors and 30 billion wires. A PCB might have few hundred wires. PCBs are boring things.

    High end chips are manufactured in Taiwan and South Korea. Low end chips are manufactured in Taiwan. Mid range chips are manufactured all over, but mostly in first world countries. Malaysia, Vietnam, and India would mostly do assembly and PCB manufacturing.

    The Senate passed a bipartisan Bill to support American Technology. I fail to see your reasoning.

    Another quarter of a trillion dollars of Generational Warfare funds being spent to further the corruption of power is my problem.

    I stated it in my 1st post, you couldn't understand it, so I've dumbed it down to your level. Apparently you're too dumb still.

    You're not going to have grandkids or great grandkids, statistically speaking. Only about 1 in 8 from 18 to 45 are expected to have a child.

    Most practical people see the wisdom behind this. Of course, I was waiting for a few to scream 'Communism' over this Government subsidy to the Tech sector.
    There are so many Tariffs, Quotas, and Subsidies around the world that 'Free Trade' is more a dream than a Reality.

    Starting with Clinton, Democrats started pushing things that are hard to disagree with. This concept has spread to other countries, and we see moderate left wing technocrats Emmanuel Macron in France or Justin Trudeau in Canada. Biden is a reasonable technocrat putting forward things that any reasonable person would agree with, and with the experience in Congress to get it done. He is very much the right man for the times.

    Yes. Well, this wasn't so much of a 'promotional' for Biden as it was of the concept of 'National Security' rises ABOVE the Capitalist System of 'Free Markets'.
    It makes sense (especially to China) that 'Critical Industries' be supported by the US Government.

    They even have a name for it: 'National Champions'.

    --->"National champions
    National champions are corporations which are technically private businesses but due to governmental policy are ceded a dominant position in a national economy. In this system, these large organizations are expected not only to seek profit but also to "advance the interests of the nation"; the government sets policies which favor these organizations.Wikipedia"

    China is doing this on a massive scale. Here in the US, we have 'Faux Capitalists' whining about 'Open Markets' and 'Free Trade'. These are usually Worker Drones, like here at JPP, that can't see past their noses.
