You can ask BAC. I was against Iraq.
and never voted Republican in my life for POTUS before Trump. I supported both Bernie and Trump as insrtument of change in DC.
where you point falls apart on Hillary is Libya ( Syria to some extent too). She was the deciding voice that swayed Obama to support R2P ( responsibility to protect)on false purposes. She didn't learn from Iraq, and to this day refuses to call Libya a disaster.
I have done extensive research on Libya
BAC and myself were actually partners against it in 2011.while we agree on nothing else -our anti-interventionist views are the same on Libya and Syria
PS. this "not allowed" is your meme. I'm not fond of Carlson's past, but by great Buddha he does deserve props for starting out each show with "Russian hysteria" updates , as well as tearing apart the neocons here.

I wonder who he tears up tomorrow?
The Russiaphobes can't take a challenge ( Peters)without getting nasty and the neocons can't defend their record (Boot)..The Dems just froth "treason/impeachment"
I have always thought one of the most telling admissions about the Iraq War is when righties TODAY try to bend over backwards to give Democrats "credit" for the war.
Speaks volumes about what they think about the decision to invade now. What a turnabout - I still remember 2003 vividly, when the left was on the "wrong side of history," and we were traitors and terrorist-sympathizers.
I swear - Iraq War supporters shouldn't even enter a discussion on foreign policy anymore. They should permanently recuse themselves. That's one you don't get a mulligan on.

Most anti-war lefties I know are extremely principled. I've been against every single war in my lifetime except for Afghanistan, and I came to regret my support for the latter. I was against everything Clinton did, and Libya. I didn't vote for Hillary specifically because she voted for Iraq.
You guys don't know principle. You'll vote for someone as insane as Trump, just because of the (R).
I will have to take your word for it. You don't strike me as liberal at all. Trump is the biggest war monger, most militaristic, most belligerent president we have elected in my lifetime, and I just can't see an "anti war" liberal supporting Drumpf. I most certainly don't recall ever seeing you call out the rightwing or conservative message board posters for their support of the catastrophically foolish Iraq War Disaster.Annatta:

I will give Fucker Carlson credit for belatedly recognizing the Iraq War for what it was - epically stupid, disastrous, and foolish. Just like I give Hillary Clinton some slack for expression of regret and contrition for the foolish Iraq War vote.
But that doesn't make either of them prime candidate to lecture NeoCons. That privilege belongs to me, Thing, Cofeveve, BlackAsCoal, Christifan, and other liberals and congressional Democrats who were forcefully vocal in opposing the Iraq War Disaster -- even to the point of having to run a gauntlet of your rightwing buddies calling us traitors and Saddam-supporters.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."
The one thing I like about the shake-up of the GOP that Douchebag Donald orchestrated is that he got people who had strongly supported Dubya to dance to a new tune, which was that Bush had lied us into the war, and that the Bush family was now persona non grada after all of their years in the party. It's forcing a conversation within the party that is allowing for multiple schools of thought to compete once more for control. We can see who the hypocritical mouthbreathers are (the Eric Bollings, Tucker Carlsons, and Sean Hannitys of the world), so that it will be easier for me to distinguish these people for at least a generation to come.
It's also great to have leftists agreeing with me about Russia for the first time since about 1970.
