Default IG blows past felonies, firings, resignations & perjury to find only "errors"

In the most hilariously absurd example of shameless and open bias ever witnessed in an investigation of any kind, the IG managed, with a straight face, to find only "errors" and no biased intentions in the FBI and DOJ:

-Breaking the rules to appoint Mueller (conflicts of interests including prior private sector financial grievances against Trump, being close personal friends to a key witness, and having been turned down for a job by Trump).

-Lying to a federal judge to misrepresent DNC-funded opposition research as legitimate foreign intelligence to illegally spy on Hillary's opponents during a major national election.

-Breaking the rules to classify the comically absurd conspiracy theories in the Steele dossier as "vetted" when all the evidence clearly indicated they were false.

-Continuing the Mueller witch hunt for 15 months after it was proven that Trump was innocent.

-Breaking the rules by stacking the deck in the Mueller investigation with rabid ultra-partisans who donated to Hillary, worked for Hillary, attended Hillary's "victory" party in 2016, and putting a legendary smear merchant in charge who was so disreputable as to not be allowed in the room for most of the investigation because no one would work with him (Weissmann).

-Committing perjury and repeatedly leaking, stealing, and falsifying classified documents.

-Doing all of this while also breaking every rule and law to falsely exonerate Hillary (more than a hundred separate felonies were identified) and messaging each other at every turn with vicious partisan slander against Trump and pledges to "stop" him.

This ocean of partisan sleaze, corruption and bias is the atmosphere in which only "errors" and no bias was detected.

Let me see, who do we believe? Is it Horowitz who is under Barr and works for his justice department? No, his results came out wrong so that proves he is a "deep stater".
What also has been proven is that you rightys will continue to deny no matter what is proven. It is a problem with you rightys not the investigations or evidence.
All those terrible things you rightys have claimed have melted away. You lost. You were suckered in by Trump and Fox. You should be ashamed and be asking for forgiveness.

So all the firings and prosecutions for misconduct and policy violations are imaginary? Or let me guess...they are just another plot by secret Russian agents making us THINK there were egregious abuses of power.

Well thought-out and rational analysis as always.

Incidentally, the U.S. attorney leading the Durham investigation into this attempted coup...which has a much broader scope, and which has already identified numerous federal crimes...came out swinging in an unprecedented rebuke, contradicting the IG's willfully blind refusal to notice the obvious and overwhelming evidence of treason.

US Attorney Durham objects to IG findings on Russia probe origins in stunning statement

Graham is making a mistake by acting like there is legitimate room for disagreement on this. The facts overwhelmingly show that this was NOT started with lawful or valid intentions at all. The text messages, the breaking of EVERY KIND of DOJ and FBI policy, the handling of the Hillary investigation leading up to it...literally ALL THE EVIDENCE shows this was set up from the beginning to defraud the courts, falsely scandalize one side while propping up the other, and overthrow a legitimate president. The IG could have produced criminal referrals just from what is already available in the public sphere alone.

Their entire argument is arbitrarily pretending away a plethora of proof all around them.

Every step of the Mueller investigation found increasing amounts of exculpatory evidence exonerating Trump and incriminating evidence implicating Democrats. Very early on, the holes in all this bullshit became so clear that any remotely objective prosecutor (it's like they SOUGHT OUT the guy with the maximum number of disqualifying conflicts of interest) would have closed the case and had to explain themselves for even opening it in the first place with such garbage "evidence." The only logical reason to continue dragging it out for 15 more months was to get Democrats into the House so that impeachment could accomplish what the coup attempt had already failed to do.

All over, just like that eh lol?

As they say, ‘not so fast’. Horowitz’s conclusion [opinion, actually] only matters to the FBI and/or congress if they choose to implement some reforms. Barr and Durham both disagree with Horowitz and that matters just a bit. To put it mildly.

It’s also not surprising that they’d disagree with Horowitz: Barr and Durham have a more *comprehensive* view of the situation.

This is far from over. In fact, it’s very likely just the beginning. Instead of using Trump for a piñata, Democrats and their media minions should probably prepare for months of being on their heels and playing defense, finally. The months before the election.

    How fitting.

Even a superficial examination of the evidence already available in the public sphere proves so much malfeasance and bias that no reasonable person could reach the IG's incomprehensibly blind conclusion. There is more going on here than their investigation just being uniquely one-dimensional and cursory.

FACTUAL RESULTS OF THE OBSTRUCTION INVESTIGATION

    A. The Campaign's Response to Reports About Russian Support for Trump
    B. The President's Conduct Concerning the Investigation of Michael Flynn
    C. The President's Reaction to Public Confirmation of the FBl's Russia Investigation
    D. Events Leading Up To and Surrounding the Termination of FBI Director Corney
    E. The President's Efforts to Remove the Special Counsel
    F. The President's Efforts to Curtail the Special Counsel Investigation
    H. The President's Further Efforts to Have the Attorney General Take Over the Investigation
    I. The President Orders McGahn to Deny that the President Tried to Fire the Special Counsel
    J. The President's Conduct Towards Flynn, Manafort,
    K. The President's Conduct Involving Michael Cohen

“Our investigation found multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations. The incidents were often carried out through one-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General's recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony. Viewing the acts collectively can help to illuminate their significance. For example, the President's direction to McGahn to have the Special Counsel removed was followed almost immediately by his direction to Lewandowski to tell the Attorney General to limit the scope of the Russia investigation to prospective election-interference only-a temporal connection that suggests that both acts were taken with a related purpose with respect to the investigation.”
    ____________

    Obstruction of justice - 18 USC 1501-1521
    Witness intimidation 18 USC 1512
    Emoluments - US Constitution

    Extortion – 18 USC 112
Solicitation of something of value from a foreign entity - 11CFR 110.2 and 11 CFR 300.2

    ______________

    Extortion – 4 elements
    Threat – withholding $400 million
Intent – Forcing public announcement of investigations
Fear – of loss of funding for defensive weapons against the Russians
Property – the thing of value is the investigations of 2016 tampering and the Bidens

Horowitz’s conclusions are only relevant ‘in house’.

If he’s a stooge then he’s Durham’s unwitting stooge because he provided Durham with lots of fodder. Durham doesn’t need ‘indictments recommended to him’ by Horowitz.

He’s more than capable of finding them on his own.
