I’ll make no predictions except to say there’s been a change in the air over the past weeks and Democrats are aware of it. I think it’s telling that Nancy is counseling Biden not to debate Trump: Biden’s lead has gotten thinner—but it’s a lead.

Regardless of what they might say, Democrats [the leaders—much of the rank and file is beyond hope] don’t have confidence in Biden on the debate stage with Trump. For the simple reason no one has any idea of what he might say lol.

Biden has already insulted blacks—twice, during a more controlled environment.

They don’t want to risk it. If Trump were to actually pull even or ahead of Biden the rank and file would be demoralized going into November.
