I will be dropping my kids off at school in an hour and a half.

Kids are not going hungry in school. The problem here is obesity. Sugary/starchy foods cause blood sugar to ramp up and then crash. When it crashes they lose energy, and do badly in school. trump's diet is not good for students.

If kids are eating everything offered to them, either we are not offering them enough, or they are eating too much. If they are eating 75% of the food offered them, that means things are working well.

so send your kids to school with a healthy packed lunch bag........get your nose out of other parent's business......

This argument that if children do not get candy, they will starve to death is silly. I reassure you that children can live on a balanced diet, and will even eat the food. When I was young, I was even FORCED to eat vegetables, and they did not do me any harm.

We are discussing whether eating vegetables in lunches is a good idea or not. You are claiming that children will starve if we give them a well balanced lunch, and so should give them candy for lunch.
