A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

    Jesus H. Christ.

There are different kinds of pollution. Like noise pollution.

The fact that you've even managed to survive this long is remarkable.

NOISE isn't pollution, twit. it's simply a disturbance. the continual redefinition of words because a group of people feel threatened is among the stupidest things you fuckers have handed down to younger generations

I, on the other hand, REALLY MISS NEON!!!

There were few things prettier in this world than colorful, joyful neon.

LEDs have no soul. They're energy efficient, yes, but completely soulless. They've ruined Vegas, replacing neon with LEDs.

That's my take on urban lighting.

The down side to Tucson's way of doing this is most residential areas are poorly lit, if at all. Driving in them is almost seriously dangerous. You can't see pedestrians or other potential things that might lead to an accident, even driving very slowly. It also makes things easier for criminals.

A simple narrow downtown avenue during the day can change into an unfamiliar hazard at night.
For decades, lack of lighting has been a main reason.

That's a pretty common sight in residential areas there...

Yeah but the point is you made a contradiction. If the law abiding citizens have hard time seeing in the dark, then so do the criminals.

But it is very much to their advantage and encourages them rather than deters them.
