I'll try to slow it down for you. The measure of whether a particular set of policies is supported or not is the poplular vote. (Are you still with me?) The popular vote was SIGNIFICANTLY more in favor of Clinton than Trump. (still here?). You can go on all you want about the EC, but it is not the measure of national sentiment.
