Default Question for Liberals: DOW down 1000 today. Is it obamas economy or trumps?

Hi everyone, a couple of days ago obama and all of JPP were claiming the economy as obamas. Now that it has gone down again, can we finally clarify who's economy it is? Is it only obamas when it goes back up and always trumps when it goes down?

lets settle this once and for all. Is today obamas fault?

When does it officially become trumps economy? I would really like to know

Trump inherited strong economy from Obama. Obama inherited bad economy from Bush.

It's the same ups and downs that have been happening all along after getting out of the hole we were in. It's to be expected until something drastic happens to lessen or increase it. So far the biggest factors for increase are the end of the year holidays. Obama got us started out of the hole and as long as we don't have a war or any one of many financial crises it will stay on the same ebb and flow.

None of the above, the coronavirus takes credit for this one, but sure as hell as soon as the Market recovers, as it will, Trump and the lemmings will be out there claiming it was Trump who bought it back

It show the economy is internationally connected , most things are made offshore, America will feel the impact shortly on less goods and services, textiles auto parts electronics, etc. Big money is getting out of the market to take profits

It has been pretty fine for 3 years. In order to answer your question, what caused the fall? The news has been saying that it's the fear of coronavirus is what caused it.

You're either confusing terms or aren't aware of what they mean. A bear market, when referring to stocks, means one when stocks are dropping. Stocks have not been dropping since 2011. Do you mean bull market?

The economy isn't measured by a one-day drop in the markets.

Most ppl who know anything about economics blame the spread of COVID-19.

    That's what I think. It's not a person.

Sometimes it is, as when TRE45ON and his tariffs made investors very nervous.
