"Ukrainian victory shatters Russia’s reputation as a military superpower"

The stunning success of Ukraine’s recent counteroffensive has exposed the rotten reality behind Russia’s reputation as a military superpower. More than six months since the onset of Vladimir Putin’s Ukraine invasion, it is now obvious that his army is in fact a deeply flawed institution that bears almost no resemblance to the immaculate fighting force of Red Square parades and Kremlin propaganda. Instead, the Russian military suffers from endemic corruption, low morale, and poor leadership, with individual initiative in short supply and commanders deeply reluctant to accept personal responsibility. Last week’s disastrous defeat in northeastern Ukraine will only worsen the situation, with officers gripped by fear as Moscow seeks scapegoats for what is shaping up to be one of the most shameful military defeats in Russian history.

Russia has occupied 20% of Ukraine, controls the entire coastline and can strike anywhere in Ukraine that it chooses.

If that's ' losing ', what does winning look like ?

Go tune your bugle. Your warmongering is becoming repetitive.

At one time we supposedly controlled more than 20 perfect of the land Afghanistan, so you should have no problem showing me any post of yours claiming it proved we were winning the Afghan war.

Desperate nonsense. You should face up to facts instead of being a cheerleader for more war.
Do you have shares in armaments manufacturers or something ?

Ukraine has Russia on the run. All Russia has is a decreasing supply of cruise missiles. They cannot keep the land that they took. They abandoned weapons and ammo that the Ukrainas will be giving back to them soon. In a conventional war against the US Russia would last about 15 minutes.

Unlike you, I believe people have the inherent right of self defense against invaders.

You won't find a single post here from me calling the Iraqi army 'warmongers' for resisting the American 2003 invasion.

Not according to you. You wanted Ukrainians to lay down their weapons and just accept their fate as vassals of the Russian empire.

Surely you apply the same standard to Palestinians.

Why shouldn't a defensive alliance improve it's defenses against a known European aggressor state which has a 60 year history of invading Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Georgia, Moldava, Ukraine?

We've been through this three times- but you are willfully ignorant. Russia wants secure borders. The Zionist scum want a Palestinian-free Palestine.

    You are a hypocrite.

Nope, your standard for Ukraine also applies to Palestinians.

Against a more powerful foe, they should submit to being a vassal state to their overlords.

You are also a flag-waving idiot. Pro-Russian Ukrainians voted to be Russian. There are no pro-Zionist scum Palestinians.
