Blacks drown at a rate more than five times that of whites
Why can't these stupid low iq fools learn to swim?

Black children ages 5 to 19 drown in swimming pools at a rate more than five times that of white children, the research found.

How many shootings there compared to a place that draws a lot of blacks? Half of the people that drown were black u stupid POS

    Rap concert?
Chance of getting shot much higher than dying on a sinking boat!
I agree 100%. He’s on ignore and I have skimmed the thread reading TOP’s and Sailor’s posts. I went back and read the op in a quote. We did hijack it for a while though.

Nope. Not even. What the original poster and a few others post here doesn’t even deserve to be read. Sometimes you get close to the other end of that spectrum.

It wasn't hijacked in a bad way so no harm, no foul.

Absolutely. We live within spitting distance of a river and creek system that feeds a lake. There are cattle ponds all around as well. Besides the fact that we fish from a boat a lot ... being able to swim is important.

I had a girlfriend who's mother was so scared of water, she didn't want the grandkids to learn to swim!
I told the best way to save a kid from drowning is teach them to swim.

For sure. Common sense is also important. As in, even if you are wearing a CG-approved PFD, don't go out in weather with high seas in a very small boat meant to be used on calm waters. You might get away with that in a kayak if you have a good tight spray skirt (I have, a couple times... eeks!), but in an open cockpit boat, not so much. Do you like swimming? I do, in fresh or salt water, not in swimming pools.

I’m taking my boy and one of his friends from church fishing in the morning. He’s spending the night and we are planning to get an early start. We just got back from putting the bait trap in the pond. If you fish long enough there’s going to be an occasion to need to be able to swim.

As a first responder in a rural area I’ve had to assist the lake patrol on several occasions, mostly on recovery but on a couple of occasions we actually retrieved live victims of boating mishaps. Occasions like the latter are made possible by people being able to swim...and the immediate availability of life jackets or a flotation cushion. If I could I’d have everyone who plans To own a boat learn to swim.

Have a great experience tomorrow....and yes...everyone should see that their children are taught to swim/be "waterproofed" ..whether you boat or not...there are so many situations where that kind of training can be life saving....

None of us are shocked in the slightest anymore that a Trump-supporter is an overt racist swine.

    Hardly even noteworthy anymore.

I mean, the Republican party welcomes them with open arms, so what does that say about the GOP?

    Another asshole heard from.
Now back to the subject at hand...
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.
