Do you really think Putin would sit around and wait for the go-ahead from Trump lol?

Tell me you don’t really think that.

Trump supporters are really rolling out every possible rationalization. "Hey, it wasn't even effective...well, probably."

I mean, who cares about effectiveness? If someone tries to commit a crime but doesn't succeed, is that cool?

Sure - when you admit you lied about me "defending" them by talking about disproportionate fear of them.

The point flying at a very comfortable altitude above PMP's head.

Hey - maybe you can say I was defending all criminals w/ that post?

The internet taught me years ago that the rightwing will tell outrageous lies about other posters.....so the burden is on you to prove your claim that Thing has written in support of MS-13.

There’s no good reason to believe it affected the outcome of the election.

My problem is that it’s been hyped beyond all recognition for political purposes. The ‘attack’ occurred under Obama, he did next to nothing about it and now all of a sudden Trump needs to make Putin admit he did it [the Smoking Gun would be nice, btw] or walk away at Helsinki.

And if he does anything less, it’s ‘treasonous’. I call bullshit on every bit of it.

And his posting on that is a real credit to the "Trump effect." It also reminds me of the debates we used to have w/ righties during Iraq. We'd ask why we were invading a country that had nothing to do w/ 9/11, and they'd respond "why do you love terrorists so much?"

Of course - you have from the start.

But we're in double digits on indictments at this point. I'm glad we're not hearing "nothing burger" all of the time anymore.

I mean, no matter what we find out at this point - would you really have preferred that we never investigate that at all?

Did we really need Mullet to do counterintelligence lol?

What practical purpose does indicting Russian nationals serve—beyond forcing us to presume they are innocent until convicted.

Don’t rush, take a few minutes to come up with something.

I don't have to take much time. We know a lot more today about a foreign adversary interfering in our elections than we did at that start of the investigation.

I'm an American. I don't want any outside country interfering w/ what we do. I'm glad we're checking into it. Period.

Why did we do it? not for Ukraine's best interests -because Ukraine wanted an economic alliance with Putin.

We did not want Ukraine to do that
