(Conservative doesn't mean STUPID)
Speaking the day after Donald Trump won the presidential election, one of the nation’s leading security and foreign policy experts said, “I think Vladimir Putin had a great night.”
Bruce Riedel, director of the intelligence project at the Washington-based Brookings Institution, said Russia engaged in cyber attacks on Democratic Party sites during the election season and “interfered in our electoral process.” But he added these efforts ultimately did not affect the outcome.

Obviously I don't work for the NSA, CIA, etc. but I have to agree that the hacking and meddling by the Russians didn't change the election outcome. That being said, isn't it fascinating how the so-called conservatives here and elsewhere are unconcerned about it? If Clinton had won, you don't need much of an imagination to hear the outraged screams from them then.

Lack of education generally goes hand in hand with bigotry, racial resentment, and xenophobic rightwing nationalism.trumpsters are Uneducated
All of which we have in abundance on this forum, and almost exclusively from the right wing. I would say about a third of rightwing posters are openly racist and/or xenophobic, and the rest give them safe harbor in the Republican party by tacit approval or quiet acceptance and acquiescence.
“It's an universal law-- intolerance is the first sign of an inadequate education.”

Yes, but I think it works the other way around too.
The Republican base admires ignorance, holds it in high esteem. They abhor education and intelligence. One does not even have to take my word for it. Who were the three biggest "rock stars" of the Republican party in the last two decades? The ones that titillated the Republican base the most?
George Dumbya Bush, Sarah Palin, and Donald J. Trump.
