I was watching NBC's news coverage prior to the summits joint press conference. It was 100% negative. All the "experts" were already talking about how Trump blew it, and how no matter what he says this will be a bad summit.

So it didn't matter what Trump did or said, the liberal media writing was already going to be on the wall.

If Trump went hard at Putin, the left would declare he's trying to start ww3. If he went east, they'd claim Putin has dirt on him. You see this is the great leftist trick. Hopefully the American people won't be duped.

There has been universal criticism for how Trump reacted - liberal media, conservative media, talk radio, GOP politicians, worldwide.

I don't know why this is a big deal, or why anyone feels the need to defend him on this one. He did blow it. It was just one presser, and we'll all get over it - it's really easy to just agree that he blew it.

Also, none of those hacks resulted in stolen voter data or the election systems of at least 20 states.

No this was a private meeting, Trump arranged. For you to do this under investigation for crooked ties with those same people, is just insane. You don't go and have a private anything with them. It's common protocol in law. Most cases would be dropped, and charges would be filed if this was in court itself. No sane person would do what Trump is doing, so we have an insane person as our president. It's so messed up you'd consider he was trolling people, or trying to get thrown out of the presidency. We have a pretty gutless house, and senate lately though,but that could change.
