Apparently none of the Democrat politicians got that memo. Here are just a couple. There are plenty others.

There will be no triumph of words. Let’s see what *actions* follow after the summit. Then we’ll discuss who ‘triumphed’.
I'm merely reporting what their media was reporting -- they were gloating. Whether it's justified or not, who knows. I would think though that most Americans would be ashamed and appalled at that travesty of a meeting, and how the so-called leader of the free world threw us under the Russian bus. I saw various quotes this morning from government and intelligence community members. One said that Trump had the appearance of someone being held hostage and forced to read from a prepared script.

Actually, most of us *are* appalled and ashamed. It's only the brain-dead TrumpZombies who continue to sing his praises.

That is still a real stretch. I like your explanation better that it was "treasonous" rather than treason. I think comfort has to be to an enemy with which we are at war or in conflict; if not, any kind word is "comfort."

Literally the stupidest and most uninformed president this great nation has ever had.

I have read a lot. Whites without a college degree does not equate to "uneducated." They generally have a higher than average income. The groups with the lowest levels of education are Hispanics and blacks who vote heavily Democratic. Based on the generalization about Trump voters that would make these two Democratic groups ignorant, but only for those who are judgmental, intolerant bigots. If the Democratic Hispanic and black voters were criticized for being uneducated and ignorant they would be called racist, but it is somehow acceptable to make the same stereotypical comments about Trump voters. They can't stand the thought of being defeated so their defensive reaction is to see themselves as superior to those who voted differently than they did.

I don't share any of the political views of Trump supporters, but I can easily understand how they would vote against those who view them as ignorant because they do not have a college degree, hicks, racists, deplorables, and all the other offensive descriptions of those that pretend they care about humanity but in reality are full of hate. This hatred contributed to the election of Trump because they felt they were being looked down on by intolerant elitists who think they are better than their fellow humans.

I’m appalled by the reaction to it. Though I can’t say I’m surprised by it.

Talk of treason etc. Do the screeching monkeys in the media not realize Trump is the chief executive and that the IC is underneath his authority? POTUS can declassify IC documents and even, get this part, criticize the IC in front of foreign leaders and still be light years away from committing treason.

And it wasn’t even a criticism—Trump equivocated on the Russian meddling question. It was one of those uncommon occurrences where Trump equivocated like a standard politician. He’s typically blunt, to a fault. It was TAKEN as a criticism of the IC by the media and blown so far out of proportion that I am actually embarrassed by this country’s media.

    It’s disgraceful.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

It was clearly not from the heart. Just droning words on paper.

Correct, when we are at war.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
