By “deep state” I assume the rightward op is referring to what he used to refer to as “our country,” that is before his acorn sized brain was hijacked by Fox News or worse.

Right there you got the level of honesty to follow in the article

And then we have "Strzok who.......denies he ever did anything in 26 years that contained even a hint of bias," wrong, what Strzok said that his bias never effected his work, which was validated by the IG, "we found no evidence that the conclusions by department prosecutors were affected by bias or other improper considerations. Rather, we concluded that they were based on the prosecutor’s assessment of facts, the law and past department practice.”

Amazing how conservatives, a day after Mueller documents a direct connection between Russian espionage efforts in 2016 and the Kremlin, are still focusing on a dozen phrases from over five thousands Emails hoping to halt the only examination of this adversarial nation's efforts to undermine our election system. And what makes it even more bewildering is that intelligence entities are saying that the Russians are already beginning to do the same in 2018, yet conservatives think finding the facts aren't important

The IG specifically cited a text message in which Strzok told Page in August 2016 that “we’ll stop” Trump from being elected.

“[I]t is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate’s electoral prospects,” the IG said. "Strzok’s decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the midyear-related investigative lead discovered on the [Anthony] Weiner laptop in October 2016, these text messages led us to conclude that we did not have confidence that Strzok’s decision was free from bias.”

"Deep State" is a fabrication of the right wing demogogues endorsed and perpetuated by Trump himself

They control all three branches of Government, there is no Pelosi or Reid to hate, so someone or something has to serve as a scapegoat to blame everything not going their way on, why not the "deep state," ambiguous, inexplicable and it also serves the conservative need for an existential threat

Ask them to give you the names of a say a dozen or so individuals who are supposedly in this mythological "deep state" and they go silent

Trump has wanted to fire him many times, but can't because of the screaming that would follow he's tampering
with a Russian investigation..Also the Dems would slow walk a replacement till gawd knows when

that link IS from the IG report!

Recall an IG is not a prosecutor and does not look for state of mind. they can only look for documentation
Your quote is about "conclusions by the dept" and it's a generalized summary.

Mine is directly attributable to Strzok, and goes to the procedure he followed -Strzok followed a biased ( corrupt) procedure

Comey’s last stand for the deep state

As these deep staters turn into paid talking heads profiting through books, speeches and clicks, they undermine any notion that they acted professionally instead of politically while in office, and the evidence continues to mount that the foundation for turning the country upside down for the last year was most likely two parts politically tinged hubris and one part sketchy evidence.

So now Trump is suddenly worried about how someone else would react?

And that is another fabrication, Rosenstein, the Justice Department, is responding to the House's request, in fact, they had to hire additional staff just to attempt to keep up with the demand, it is a game the House lackeys are playing, they request everything knowing the Justice Dept can't answer the demand in their time frame, and then they bitch Rosenstein is stalling

Same the other day, you know that they drilled Strzok two days before for eleven hours with the exact same content, Thursday's charade was an attempt to catch him in "gottcha" moment that could be recycled on Fox TV, which didn't happen. It was obvious right off the bat with Goudy's questioning when he repeatedly asked him for information that Goudy then jumped in and provided the answer. All that is game, meant to undermine Mueller, which is a shame because the same Committees could actually be working on investigating and preventing further foreign interference in our elections

I will go with the IG, was always a fan of documentation, found it to be a bit more valuable than opinions

Gowdy asked Strzok how many people he interviewed in the 8 days prior to Strzok signing off on the Russia investigation.

Just a number—no names. I get the idea the number was zero because the FBI lawyers wouldn’t let him answer and then House Democrats jumped in with arcane parliamentary points of order so that Strzok was protected.

I can’t imagine how a simple number would ‘jeopardize’ an ongoing investigation. The whole charade was ludicrous.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017
