We have the intellect to imagine the finality of our own demise but do not have the sophistication to overcome our survival instinct and accept it.
Solution? Magical thinking and childish promises of everlasting life.
Ergo, religion.

I've followed trump since he first launched his campaign in 2015. And I posted numerous threads detailing his behaviours and actions toward all different types of people. It's pretty clear he despises Muslims and Hispanics, to start with. If you can post any words from trump where he praises liberals and Democrats for their contributions to this nation, I'd be happy to look at it.

It''s not my responsibility to try to Change your mind about Trump. All I can do is to show you where you are mistaken. I like Trump thoroughly abhor illegal aliens no matter where they come from. I also abhor Terrorist that have bastardized the Muslim religion. So I have no pity for those people. Illegals should be shipped home and terrorists should be annilated anywhere they are found.
Now you can call me a hater.
"In an interview on Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace asked Barack Obama to "name a hot button issue" where "Republicans have a better idea." Obama replied, "Well, I think there are a whole host of areas where Republicans in some cases may have a better idea." That response echoed his comment back in January that Republicans have been "the party of ideas for a pretty long chunk of time." Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and much of the liberal blogosphere piled on Obama then for seeming to endorse what Ronald Reagan unleashed."

A new Toomey campaign TV ad running Friday shows Mr. Obama praising Toomey for working with Democrats on legislation to expand background checks on firearms purchases.
It shows Mr. Obama speaking outside the White House in 2013 and thanking Toomey for his courage, despite the bill’s failure. The ad is running on cable in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Your first link is dated April 2008. That would be candidate Obama at that time. So that leaves one time he said something in 8 years as President.
Here is Trump doing the same thing. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/n...530-story.html

"The crowd cheered as Obama praised [Republican governor] Haslam and Republicans Sen. Lamar Alexander and Sen. Bob Corker, all of whom were in the audience. Obama said conservative support for Tennessee Promise should translate to bipartisan appeal of his own plan, dubbed America's College Promise."

"He praised conservatives’ patron saint, Ronald Reagan, and even went so far as to label the GOP of the 1980s “the party of ideas,” while noting that they weren’t all ideas he liked. "
