Exclamation Ignorance vs Stupid; Morning Joe says Trump is ignorant in his approach to NATO.

That would be comforting if true because ignorance is correctable. Education and training can improve a person's cognitive and critical reasoning skills along with simply being truthfully and accurately informed. Facts tend to remove the fog of ignorance, but only if you believe in the factual.

This condition of ignorance in Trumps case is debatable. Stupid is likely the more accurate evaluation of Trump and his intelligence level. It has become clear through experience that no amount of preparation by competent instructors have the needed impact on his cognitive and educable skills.

Trump revels in stupid. It’s why a lot of his high level staff are so frustrated with him. It’s also why so many of his staffers that seem able to cling to him are Neo Nazi and Autocratic in nature. They simply are stupid and being so causes them to react to the world in a violent frothing and vile trolling of those whom they don’t like due to fear and loathing of the different.

It’s inexplicable that many Republicans subscribe to this operating philosophy of stupid, almost as if they are in a trance and can’t break free. But there we have it, led by stupid, the followers are shaming themselves in their belief in stupid as a proper state to intentionally maintain.
