expecting Iran to leave Syria ( they have uniformed troops there too) is a non-starter.

Russia and Iran and geopolitical allies, but Iran doesn't listen to anyone else in the region
ussia says demands for Iran's complete withdrawal from Syria are "unrealistic."
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Wednesday after meeting with his Jordanian counterpart that Iran is one of the key powers in the region, and that it would be "absolutely unrealistic" to expect it to abandon its interests. He said regional powers should discuss mutual complaints and negotiate a compromise.
Russia and Iran have provided crucial military support to Syrian President Bashar Assad's forces, helping them turn the tide in the civil war.
Israel has said it will not tolerate an Iranian military presence in Syria and has launched military strikes against Iranian targets there in recent months.
Lavrov said Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump would discuss the situation in southern Syria, where government forces are waging a new offensive, at their July 16 summit. He said a cease-fire in the region brokered by Russia, Jordan and the U.S. had envisioned the withdrawal of non-Syrian forces and the deployment of Syrian troops along the frontier with Israel.

What's your point?
Iran and Russia are helping Assad, what else is new?

Israel to Assad: Get rid of your Iranian allies, they will ...
Israel's Defence Minister warned Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Friday to renounce the Iranian military presence in his country, saying the activities of Assad's staunchest regional ally would only cause "damage and problems".

Trump needs to talk some sense into Putin the next time they meet.
Thank God Obama is out of office, he'd let Putin walk all over us.
Well, now that Russia and Iran are such close friends, we can expect a lot of Tehran apologia from Comrade Anatta.

that reads to me as a warning to Assad - Soleimani in Syria is only going to cause problems for Assad.Speaking on a tour of the Golan Heights, the minister, Avigdor Lieberman, told Assad to beware especially of Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Quds Force, the branch of its Revolutionary Guards that oversees operations outside Iran’s borders.
“I have a message for Assad: Get rid of the Iranians, get rid of Qassem Soleimani and the Quds force, they are not helping you, they are only harming.”
“Their presence will only cause problems and damage. Get rid of the Iranians and we can, perhaps, change our mode of life here,” he said.
Maybe it's "friendly advice"? but Israel and Assad are not friends. This doesn't say that.
Nah- ' Israel' just doesn't want any forces near ' its ' borders other than Syrian- which it cannot sanely object to- the country being Syria.
It cannot launch any LEGAL objections to Russia or Iran, however. Both are there by Syrian invitation.
What it CAN do is to attack either and expect the US to prevent any retaliatory ass-kicking.
