Pretty funny watching the right scrambling to explain the flat out dumb choice of wardrobe by the First Lady. The consensus on a Fox "round table" yesterday was that it was just a jacket, much ado about nothing. Kinda hilarious coming from a network that blasted Michelle Obama for wearing a sleeveless dress in a portrait

Stage the whole photo op thing attempting to show compassion and then blow it departing with a jacket stating "I don't care," dumb, dumber, dumbest, and then your media looks ridiculous having to explain it

Nothing but entertainment with the Donald

If it turns out to be a message to the media...saying that she does not care if the media thinks stilettos are appropriate (the hurricane coverage)...then it truly was a stupid move on her part...and on the part of everyone associated with the White House.

This group of incompetents should not be allowed to organize a game of tag...let alone attempt to govern the United States.

    Truly...

This should keep the far loony left distracted and heading down the wrong rabbit hole for a least a month.

People are having a field day with that. What no one knows is how a FORMER MODEL who knows clothing down to the brand name on her thong DIDN'T KNOW what derision or rancor this would cause.

If this was a message to her HUSBAND she left herself WIDE open for interpretation, bad ones--given where she wore it.

That was the White House account, which contradicted the explanation of the First Lady's office, if I had to guess, giving the First Lady credit, I think it was her telling Donald she didn't care if he objected to her putting herself into the children separation issue.

It was a blunder, already the "I do care" Tshirts are out

Quite the contrary, it provides them a slogan to keep the child seperation controversy alive, "I do care," you'll see it in Congessional races this Fall

Like I said, it will keep the loony left enthralled for months. Of course it will be proven to be something completely different that what they think, but hey. It keeps them busy.

The jacket was in the worst possible taste considering the leading story about forced family separations.

Her staff says there's no hidden meaning, yet when she got to Texas she took off the jacket and replaced it with another before the visit. Then she put it on again to board the plane back to DC.

If it was all so innocent why didn't she wear the "I don't care" jacket when she met with the detainees?

While I agree that was a huge mistake you do know the manufacturer of the jacket is a non-profit that donates 100% of the profits to children's charities.

    Is that "for real?"

It would actually make a difference.

Gee, maybe because it had nothing to do with the "detainees"!!
